echo website

The echoIRCd project website — Rust + Axum, with compile-time Askama templates. Templates and static assets are baked into the binary, so the deployed artifact is self-contained.

Serves https://echoircd.org.

Run

cargo run                       # http://127.0.0.1:8099
ECHO_WEB_ADDR=127.0.0.1:9000 cargo run

Layout

  • src/main.rs — Axum router (/, /features, /connect, /static/style.css, /favicon.svg, /health).
  • templates/ — Askama templates (base.html + one per page).
  • static/ — CSS and favicon, embedded via include_str!.

Deploy

Built as a release binary and run under echo-website.service, reverse-proxied by nginx (TLS terminates at nginx).
