Code of Conduct

Orbit is a small, friendly project. We want everyone — contributors and users — to feel welcome.

Expected behaviour

• Be respectful and considerate. Assume good faith.
• Welcome newcomers; help people learn.
• Accept constructive feedback gracefully, and give it kindly.
• Keep discussion focused on the work.

Unacceptable behaviour

• Harassment, insults, or discrimination of any kind.
• Personal or political attacks.
• Publishing others' private information without consent.
• Sustained disruption of discussion or the project.

Scope

This applies in all project spaces — the issue tracker, pull requests, the #orbit channel, and anywhere someone is representing the project.

Enforcement

If you experience or witness unacceptable behaviour, contact a maintainer privately (on #orbit, or via the maintainer's Codeberg profile). Reports are handled confidentially. Maintainers may remove, edit, or reject contributions and may warn or ban anyone who violates this code.
